Discover thought-bending evidence from some of the oldest texts ever written and learn the reasons why their contents eventually became suppressed and hidden from most of society. Conspiracy theories or conspiracy facts, you decide what's real based on the evidence.

Matthew Lacroix's book "Stage of Time" is a delight. I just finished listening and will do so again more than a few times I am sure. I applaud & support his devotion in enlightening those who are ready to go down the proverbial rabbit hole of who we are, why we are here and where we may be going as a species. He has a refreshingly positive view which I also appreciate.

ITS ABOUT TIME
Revisado: 10-26-21
I never could accept that what happend prior to Christianity is not important, that God favors men over women in spritual matters or that any religious instituition as evil as the Catholic church should ever be allowed to exist this long. Women are the ones entrusted with the responsibility of not only bearing and caring for our species but keeping the family together are they not? The constant beating down of our gender has resulted in so much of what we see today. Its really pathetic. I just hope we learn and evolve and its only going to happen if we start talking frankly and honestly about subjects like in this book. I like seeing a young scholar have the guts to speak out about such controversial subjects and I hope other readers appreciate the message he is relaying as much as I do. Its time the murdurous pedophile ridden woman hating cult referred to as Catholicism reap what they have sowed. By the way, what right do they have to lock up secrets that can serve to teach us more about our past and who we are anyway? Everything should be turned over for mankinds prosperity not owned by a religious institution attempting to hold onto their undeserved reign and claim as Gods only appointed representatives. Their God must be Satan is this it true. Its also long past time for women to be restored their rightful place as equal partners with men and no child should ever suffer the physical and emotional trauma so many Catholic priests have unending been allowed to inflict! May true justice be done once and for all. End the madness!

If you want a good listen, try this one. Jeaniene Frost offers an intelligent new spin on the usual vampire story and Tavia Gilbert does a great job narrating. I enjoyed the first book so much I just bought books II and III which is saying a lot about how much I enjoyed the first book in the series and wanted the fun to continue.

Historia
In 1989 Ken Follett astonished the literary world with The Pillars of the Earth, set in 12th-century England. Readers and listeners ever since have hoped for a sequel. At last, here it is. Although the two novels may be listened to in any order, World Without End also takes place in Kingsbridge, two centuries after the townspeople finished building their exquisite Gothic cathedral. The cathedral is again at the center of a web of love and hate, greed and pride, ambition and revenge.

A SEQUEL TO THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH
Revisado: 12-22-11
This story begins two centuries after the end of the Pillars of the Earth. I thought that it was just as enjoyable. For those that did not want the original story to end any more than I did, this is a must read for you. Although the original characters are obviously dead, their descendants carry on their legacy.

Revisado: 12-22-11
A captivating story about unforgettable experiences in an exotic land albeit a bit depressing at times, but nonetheless remarkable. Gregory David Robert’s offers very intimate views that Humphrey Bower narrates beautifully.
I have never been to India and am likely not to, however the mention of that country will be forever accompanied by the memories I will have of this book.

Ken Follett's World Without End was a global phenomenon, a work of grand historical sweep beloved by millions of readers and acclaimed by critics. Fall of Giants is his magnificent new historical epic. The first novel in The Century Trilogy, it follows the fates of five interrelated families - American, German, Russian, English, and Welsh - as they move through the world-shaking dramas of the First World War, the Russian Revolution, and the struggle for women's suffrage.

A MUST FOR WORLD WAR HISTORY LOVERS
Revisado: 12-22-11
Ken Follett is a genius but FALL OF GIANTS is not a choice favorite.
So many of his other books have been so enjoyable there was little reason to think this one would be different. However, if it had not been for his wonderfully entertaining characters (as always) I do not think I could have made it to the end. For those of you that find war history more engaging this one is for you.

Poetic and insightful
Revisado: 12-22-11
I enjoyed the depiction of Africa from a non-native growing up there. The writing is beautifully poetic at times but the characters forgettable, the story line weak, and the narration lacking. I had to force myself to listen until the end.

Revisado: 12-22-11
I found DEAD UNTIL DARK captivatingly funny, sinister, mysterious and with the right amount of sex and violence. After listening to this, the first of many in Charlaine Harris's series, I can't wait to read more.
Harris reminds me of Janet Evanovich but a lot less nutty. This is worth noting since Harris's characters are other worldly and yet have more substance.
I recommend this as a fun read to anyone.

Wrong Narrator
Revisado: 11-23-11
I have read this book and enjoyed it very much, so I thought that I would purchase an audio of it. Unfortunately the choice in narrator took so much away from it that I stopped listening after the first 20 minutes. I was very disappointed with C. J. Critt. However, I may purchase the latest audio narratoed by Janet Evanovich herself.
