1 world government, individual freedoms erased for the “greater good”. Given the state of the world the author was ahead of his time. Solid book for pulling the reader into the story. A shadow of things to come?
The UN becoming the world government? Well if Russia and China join forces it could happen. On to book 2…

Picked these up for my teenage daughter and began listening with her. Now we are both hooked and are working our way through the series. It has been a fun father daughter effort. Has a little bit of everything fights, magic and dealing with relationships... great read.

Flip, Flops in the timeline can get confusing but overall it was a solid story

Was looking forward to this story but I was a little disappointed with the story early on. It goes forward and back in time trying to tie two stories together. You have to listen carefully to keep track of what is going on and when. Overall it goes come together, but takes its time in doing so.
