Another favorite in the series

The Male Character did th things for me. I loved the surely on the outside needy on the inside personality of the male MC. Overall the story was interesting. Between the Wyvern Kindred and this one I’m having a hard time deciding which one I would want ultimately but they are my top two out of all the kindred.

Definitely need the old Mackenzie Cartwright back. This narrator wasn’t terrible but honestly did terrible during the erotic scenes and it sadly took away from the beauty of the Evangeline Anderson books. When it says the female lead gasped the narrator doesn’t gasp instead she does a different sound which was weird. Anyways it may seem nitpicky but it makes a difference and matters for an audiobook.

The male rape scene put me off

What is the point of going into a rape of a male in prison. Unnecessary and disgusting. Not sure what’s going on with this author but most of her books are good. Some are just awful 😞. The rape scene was so gross 🤮 and I’m just disappointed.

NO NO NO!!! Horrified, BEWARE, gore scenes!

I usually enjoy Evangeline’s books but this story absolutely sickened me. Beware that their is gore and disgusting details of death. I don’t understand why The author went down this path but I was so disturbed and upset with this book. Theirs over 6 hours left and I don’t know if I can continue. I feel like I’m listening to a book for the Aliens series, not a romance novel for outer space at this point. This will probably be the first book in this series I will be returning and I have all her audio books.

Just be aware some serious violations dealing with deflowering, insect force pregnancy with very graphic gory birth that kills a woman.

Hints of romance and theirs only been one semi sexual scene in this book.

Just abusive material of a woman being defiled until she has Stockholm syndrome. Aliens that human traffic, use sex as a weapon and no rights. This will be appealing for a very specific type of a woman. If you’re into BDSM then this may be something you’ll like but it’s extreme and not realistic in the slightest as far as the sexual acts and how fast they happen. Would never buy another book from this author as they seem to have a warped sense of consent and tries to make it seem like rape is fine.

Wilma was really annoying overly possessive and insecure. After a while Wila uses Grin’s past to hide behind instead addressing her own trust issues. She is illogically I trust worthy, a user of peoples kindness but yet believes she’s better then the people in the tribe. She isn’t forgiving and doesn’t let go of what happened to Frin after a while it’s just really frustrating. Going to to return this book because I wouldn’t read this again. Wila’s character was such a pessimist and it got on my nerves.

Didn’t like Frankie’s vengeful attitude towards Kerov. If she felt so scared of the pure pleasure why would she put Kerov through it. Just came off wrong. The author tries to romanticize it but this ruined the book for me, I have all Evangeline’s audiobooks but this will be the first one I’ll be returning.

I loved everything except...

Okay, I really love all of Evangeline Anderson’s books and I love this one as well, my only draw back was calling the female lead “little girl” constantly. I know he called her that because she’s tiny compared to him but it honestly made me cringe 😬 through out the story to the point that it was distracting from my enjoyment and headspace I get into when listening to her novels. I would preferred a different pet name like “little lady”, “cupcake” “short stuff” anything but little girl lol. Anyways it’s added to my collection of Evangeline Anderson books but won’t read this again due to that. If she didn’t make this such a great book I would have returned it but still managed to make a great story as always.

Omg so hot!!

I have to say one of my favorite of the Kindred novels and so much character development for Y. The author really outdid herself with this one and I cannot wait for the next part of this story. I really like the good characters and the villains. Really brings the story together and oh so good. The intimate scenes in this book are not for the faint of heart. It’s intense and sure to keep you up at night wanting more. I enjoyed this book so much I’m going to listen to it twice! 😊😍

Everything was good until the spanking

Seriously I have no problem with a dominate male lead but treating ones sexual partner like a child because she’s coping badly after being kidnapped and finding out some damning information about betrayal put me off this book. It just pissed me off and it was ridiculous that after her lover treats like a child they go into love making so stupid and inconsistent with a realistic woman unless she is in some type of bdsm. Not for me.

Oh my the cliff hanger!

OMG this book exceeded my expectations and I'm so pleased that I decided to listen to this. Not only is it a very sexy story but also thrilling and shocking in many ways. This author pushes the envelop and draws you in. The cliffhanger had me screaming OMG but I can't wait for the next book! Thank you for writing this!!!
