Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet.

Peterson's answer to this most difficult of questions uniquely combines the hard-won truths of ancient tradition with the stunning revelations of cutting-edge scientific research. Humorous, surprising, and informative, Dr. Peterson tells us why skateboarding boys and girls must be left alone, what terrible fate awaits those who criticize too easily, and why you should always pet a cat when you meet one on the street.

I firmly belive the world would be a better place if everyone read this book. Dr. Peterson reaches into your sole and frees the ideas you were holding on to deep inside. I cannot express how helpful this book is. Its one of the few I own physical and audio versions of.

Original Story with an excellent performance.
Revisado: 07-03-18
I got this book on a whim and was very pleased with it. The story was very fresh with an original concept. As soon as I finished it, I went looking for the sequel. The characters flirt with but managed to avoid the annoying sanctimoniousness that so many YA heroes tend to have. I felt the author did an excellent job of showing the pain of growing up and being the person in the role that nobody wants. Maybe this book will make people look at IRS agents and parking cops in a better light.

Historia
A bet between the gods Hermes and Apollo leads them to grant human consciousness and language to a group of dogs overnighting at a Toronto veterinary clinic. Suddenly capable of more complex thought, the pack is torn between those who resist the new ways of thinking, preferring the old dog ways, and those who embrace the change. The gods watch from above as the dogs venture into their newly unfamiliar world, as they become divided among themselves, as each struggles with new thoughts and feelings.

Good Book, but not for me. SJW not EOW
Revisado: 03-08-17
Le the start by saying this book is beautifully written and Miss Elison is very talented. I loved her first book very much. But if you are looking for dystopia fiction this book is not for you. This book is very much about social issues like feminism, transgenderism, homosexuality and gender constructs. If you are really interested in these subjects, then you will enjoy this book very much. I mostly enjoy dystopia future books for escapism and transgender sex is not really my idea of a escape. It really was just not for me, but again I restate, the writing is beautiful and the author is talented. I congratulate her on her follow up and hope it is successful. The narration was impeccably done as well.

Historia
After a long winter spent hunkering down in Wyoming, Bree, Nate, and the gang are back on the road. The harsh temperatures up in the northern regions might have decimated the undead scourge somewhat, but soon they have to face reality: it's not just zombies that are out there to hunt people down and kill them. For humanity to have a fighting chance to rebuild a semblance of civilization, everyone will have to work together - and resources are scarce. Someone will have to go out there and face the danger.

This series is getting better and better!
Revisado: 07-14-16
I really do think this has becoming my favorite zombie series of all time. I love the accuracy of the science, the character development, the villains, and pacing. I finished this book in one setting the day it came out. I am probably going to read 4, I don't think I can wait for the audio book.
This is one of the first zombie books written with a female lead that didn't have me gritting my teeth. Bree is relatable, competent without perfection, and best of all evolving! She is growing with the series.
My favorite things about these books as both a Soldier and a scientist, is that both the combat and microbiology is done so well!
