Historia
It's a gorgeous autumn day in Georgetown. The Democratic candidates for president and vice-president of the United States are dutifully glad-handing voters and the media outside a grand estate where a national-security conference has just been held, bringing together the world's greatest minds to discuss the issues that are threatening the country. It's American politicking at its best. That's when all hell breaks loose.

Like Narration and story
Revisado: 08-21-11
I really like Armand Schultz's narration and wish he would narrate an unabridged version of Transfer of Power. I didnt use my credit to buy TOP because Nick Sullivan's sample narration (dont have to listen to the whole thing to tell, makes me cringe) just doesnt do it for me.

Historia
Bravery. Honor. Sacrifice. These are more than mere words to trained Marine sniper Nathan McBride. He’s never backed away from danger and he’s not about to start now, even if it means confronting the cold-blooded interrogator who tortured him to the brink of death more than a decade ago.

Why Dick Hill?
Revisado: 07-18-11
3 stars for the story but 1 star for Dick Hill. I am not sure why Dick Hill though? Our hero is a young man but Dick Hill sounds like a man in his fiftees. That is not a true reflection of the story. Also, where is the kindle version? I read First to Kill and loved it, "read" being the operating word, not listen.

Historia
"Last night I dreamt I went to Manderley again." These famous words open the most popular novel by Daphne du Maurier, the story of an intense romance set in a mysterious house in Cornwall. Its unforgettable atmosphere and tension has transformed it from a popular romance on the page and on film to become a modern classic. Here, it is presented in a new and absorbing recording by Emma Fielding.

I loved it!

Narrator Emma Fielding did such a good job with this one. I listened to the unabridged version and wished Emma did that too. Anna Massey is pretty good but Emma is better. Oh, the background music is perfect, not overdone.
