The narrator is just reading.

It was difficult to get the concepts of the book because it sounded like the narrator didn’t have a conceptual understanding of what he was reading. But it was words and sounds being regurgitated. When you read James Allen, everything he says has a very specific message and intention. But the audiobook just has endless sounds coming at you without understanding and lacking intention.

It doesn’t seem like there’s any effort by the author to dive into anything. He’ll intro 15 concepts in one chapter but doesn’t dive into any of them. there aren’t any real examples or anecdotal evidence to demonstrate the significance of some of these principles, and how they can be used. He doesn’t explain the benefits or show the relationship. I don’t believe you can just skim over the top of data science and expect to write anything useful. You’re introducing a lot of new words, ideas and phrases, but you’re not explaining any of them in this book.

In the Introduction, the book states there are 1 billion chickens in the world and that’s 3 1/2 chickens per person. How did they even publish that? Maybe they meant in the US?

Not professional quality audio. Not audible book friendly

I am an avid follower of both Michael Gerber and Darren Root because I respect both of them and I've learned a lot from them in business and accounting, respectively. I listen to audio books on a daily basis, But this is one of the worst recording paces and vocal pitch levels I've experienced. After 1.5x speed, it's a jumbled, mumbled mess. Gerber is bearable at 2x sometimes, but Darren is very hard to listen to at any speed. It's not a natural feeling slow or fast. I find myself adjusting my EQ and speed often just to get through it and understand them.
