This book was definitely worth the wait. I loved the first book in the series and the second book was just as good. This book really set the next one up to be even better, one of my favorite series!

This was so great! I have gotten more picky with these types of romance books that I read because I don't have much of a tolerance for stupid drama, and this book did not have any of that! These two characters TALKED to each other. It's hard to believe, I know. I really like rockstar books, and this was definitely one of the better ones I've ever read. Logan was really perfect, and him and Tori had both been through so much so it was really nice to see them both get it figured out and help each other.

I started this series with this book, it is stand alone and you don't need to read the others first, that being said, I am definitely going back to the beginning and reading all of them. The narrators were really perfect for these characters. I definitely recommend this audio!

Awesome start to series

I really liked this! I couldn't put this down once I got started, and I've been in a bit of a reading slump lately so that is a pretty big deal. These characters and this world were great. Kali was awesome, and I loved her for every bit of this story. Deven was also perfect because give me a good guard story any day. Tarek was a great villain. I'm going to be reading the next one right away

Great start to the series

I haven't read any of the other books in this world, I started with this one because the cover was so pretty. But this was so good, I need to go back and read all the other ones now. I wasn't confused or anything by not reading the other books first. Obviously some stuff happened that I had no clue about, but it was explained well enough. This world was really cool, and I liked the magic. Pamela was a really great character too, I'm kind of excited that I have other books to read with her in it from the other series. I loved the familiars in this!

The narration for this was excellent also.

I loved this so much! The Remnant Chronicles is one of my favorite series of all time and I have been so excited for this book. I love this world, and I loved seeing other parts of this world that weren't in TRC, but I also loved when the TRC characters showed up! I missed them. They didn't take over the story though, this book was definitely about Kazi and Jase. I loved how everything played out. It was a little slow to start, but its also long so that was okay. A lot happened in this one book and I would do anything to have the sequel right now. Kazi and Jase were awesome, I loved them both.

You can read this without reading TRC first, but it will spoil something for you about TRC that is really fun in that series. You should read TRC anyway if you haven't yet, because its amazing.

Mary E Pearson is one of my favorite authors, I will read as many books in this world as she puts out and I will love them all.

This audio was really great, I loved the performance.

Another great book in this series

This was probably my favorite book in this series! I love Aelin and Rowan so much. I also really liked Elide's story line in this one too. She is a great character. I'm not usually a huge fan of battle scenes, but I absolutely loved them in this book. Maas is great with battle scenes, and I love fae battle scenes in general. I'm going to be so sad when this series is over!

All of our favorite people are back!

I didn't want it to be over!! I just wanted to keep reading but I ran out of book and I don't want to wait for the next one. This was way more character driven than plot, and that would have bothered me if it were any other characters, but I will read and love everything with this group in it. I just love them all so much. We got to see pretty much everyone again, I missed them all so much! Can't wait for the next book

The narration was excellent

I went back and forth on how to rate this one. I absolutely loved some parts and some things drove me nuts. I love a good enemies to lovers, but the enemies part of this kind of went on for a little longer than I felt was necessary. It did seem to drag in some parts. I did love Travis and Viola so I will be reading the second book, I care about their HEA!

This does end with a cliffy. The narration is perfect, she does such a good job bringing all of the characters to life.

I know 3 stars may seem like I didn’t like this, but that’s not true. I recommend reading this, you will love Travis and Viola and the side characters!
