A must listen for those that have to deal w people
Revisado: 07-04-23
She firmly believes in our inherent capacity to overcome our fears and confront our inner demons. She believes in the importance of self-sufficiency. She encourages us to live up to our full potential. Her vision is to boost our confidence and equip ourselves with the necessary tools to ensure personal safety, mental strength, and success in all areas of life, be it work, school, relationships, or friendships.
In this book, the author, Evy Poumpouras, a former US Secret Service Agent, divulges the training techniques employed by the government to develop the highly skilled members of the US Secret Service. Drawing from her personal experience, she also reveals the step-by-step process she underwent to become a polygraph examiner and interrogator under the US Department of Defense. In addition, she shares subtle strategies used to influence and navigate situations that often go unnoticed by normal people. Undoubtedly, the valuable lessons presented in this book can be used for various personal and professional challenges.
One convenient aspect of the book is the author provides concise and actionable steps for implementing each lesson into our daily lives. She also explores common scenarios in which these lessons can be effectively applied. For instance, she offers guidance on dealing with situations where you suspect your significant other is being untruthful, or you believe your boss hates you, or if you want to get rid of the toxic people in your circle finally.
As a bonus, the author injects entertainment value into the book by recounting captivating stories from her tenure as a US Secret Service Agent, serving various US Presidents, and her experiences interrogating/interviewing both wannabe agents and criminals.
This book is truly exceptional and is on my list of favorites. Evy Poumpouras offers invaluable insights and practical advice that can improve our lives.
P.s. She sounded hot, so I looked her up, and I can confirm she is hot. Haha

Historia
Learn about the intricacies of sharia law with iMinds insightful audio knowledge series.
Sharia law is the law of the religion of Islam. The "sharia" means the "path" Muslims should follow if they are to lead good lives. Sharia law regulates not only human relationships between individuals, like other legal systems, but also human relationships with God. Therefore, sharia is much more than a law as Westerners know it. It is an entire way of life for Muslims.

Astagfiruallah! Do not waste time. This is inaccurate and dumb
Revisado: 10-02-22
This sounds like a group project from primary school. In which, a group of students have to present. So they just haphazardly put some information together after doing lazy research to finish the slides. And they Don’t fact check as long as it sounds like it fits lol so embarrassing for iMind.

Love this book.
Revisado: 03-13-22
The author actually narrates the book herself and she is awesome. She starts it off with her own family experience, and then uses relatable examples from her own life to ensure her listeners understand the concepts. She keeps it short, to the point, interesting and manages to make it light and understandable to folks used to the world of TikToKs. There is so much benefit to gain from this book if you know how to truly listen.

This book shows that Lesley Hazleton hates powerful women.
Revisado: 02-13-22
This is certainly a book made for entertainment rather than fact based information. The author did not shy away from telling a biased story by strategically leaving out certain elements of important parts of the lives or retelling biased versions of stories of highly respected individuals of Islamic history by Shia and Sunni to simply manipulate the truth and let the mind wonder for the sole benefit of entertainment. Additionally, the author promotes woman on woman hate and stereotypes the powerful women of Islamic history and their actions that are praised by all throughout the Islamic world but Shia and Sunni men and women and characterizes the women’s actions primarily Aisha’s r.a. actions as merely women on their periods acting out of jealousy. Also, the author should say PBUH after the Prophets name just to be respectful. After all, she has created a story to retell Islamic history may as well be respectful doing it.

In the 20th anniversary edition of this classic, Robert offers an update on what we’ve seen over the past 20 years related to money, investing, and the global economy.

Book has some good tips and points.
Revisado: 02-12-22
This has some good points and good tips. Nothing new just the same sort of thing you tend to learn from other sources on the same topic. I did find it annoying how the author was disrespectful to his “poor” real dad in the book. It felt like his “poor” dad was just a different type of person and decided not to make his life’s purpose about money and measured success in other ways. His son should not have disrespected him so publicly. Probably broke he dad’s heart with this book. Bless his “poor” dad and I hope he did not have to feel shame and was not upset knowing the world read how his son felt about him.

This was a good generally. But the author is a bit too positive and self loving to the point it sounds like he is overcompensating for something. Instead of actually just dealing with his issues head on like he is preaching.

Very strange and misleading.
Revisado: 02-02-22
Written in a disingenuous manner that strategically promotes certain biases in order to cater to a specific type of reader and for the benefit of selling the book. Passages utilized as “earliest sources” are clearly cherry picked to ensure that the consumers of the mainstream religion will feel validated and not be offended rather than providing actual information and being respectful.
