Historia
Ten years ago, Calamity came. It was a burst in the sky that gave ordinary men and women extraordinary powers. The awed public started calling them Epics. But Epics are no friend of man. With incredible gifts came the desire to rule. And to rule man you must crush his will. Nobody fights the Epics...nobody but the Reckoners. A shadowy group of ordinary humans, they spend their lives studying Epics, finding their weaknesses, and then assassinating them. And David wants in. He wants Steelheart - the Epic who is said to be invincible. The Epic who killed David's father.

Linear and solvable but still Sanderson :)

would have been better without the teen romance but yhat, I suppose, did serve a plot point.
After Elantris, Mistborne series, and Stormlight, this one felt like a book aimed more at early or pre-teens. still enjoyble at 39 years or age but partly because I need something before Stormlight 3 to listen to :). will do book 2, Firefight

New Edition! More content, images, and corrected text and facts. Monochrome edition. Starting with its humble beginnings in the 1950s and ending with its swan-song, the Dreamcast, in the early 2000s, this is the complete history of Sega as a console maker. Before home computers and video game consoles, before the Internet and social networking, and before motion controls and smartphones, there was Sega.

Great book not only for sega fans.
Revisado: 10-14-15
Too much multiple repetition but still an enthralling story. Might not be that interesting to very young gamers. (Or maybe it will be).
Would be 5 stars if edited properly into a book

Historia
This short but powerful novel was acclaimed by Vladimir Nabokov and Mahatma Gandhi as the greatest in the whole of Russian literature. It is one of Tolstoy's most celebrated pieces of late fiction. At the center of the story is an examination of the nature of both life and death and how man can come to terms with death's inevitability. It was widely acclaimed when it was published in 1886 and remains a compelling narrative today.

Awful audio qaulity
Revisado: 03-13-15
Get this classic elsewhere. The audio quality on this is terrible. The start of a few tracks is very quiet like on an over used tape

Missed oppurtunity
Revisado: 02-25-15
Narration is very sleepy with little attempt to differentiate voice between characters. And the guy sounds much more soft and feminine than charlie which is off putting.
The main problem is that the text comes off like a laundry list of chores in bullet point form. Listing like "we went here, then used that, the the next day we went here and so on". Very little space is allocated to describing the places and people encountered.
