This book is everything I could have hoped for.

I genuinely feel that this is some of the most important story telling I may have ever heard. There is a depth of wholeness that I can't remember experiencing before...I couldn't stop listening. Thank you all so very much for sharing your stories of Tony...You made him real. It was a gift to get to hear about him through the voices of those who knew him best... There was such an outflowing of unconditional love for him...Love that recognized his genius & was simultaneously capable of holding his various expressions of pain. I'm grateful to each of you for who you were to him & for your willingness to tell this story with all the wonder & complexities of who you knew & experienced him to be.
I loved hearing Tony's voice & perspective coming through on everything I ever watched or read with him...I only appreciate him even more now. Thank you...

PERFECT Christmas book/story for me!!!

This story touched on most things I hold dear. Truly enjoyed the story of these sisters & every unexpected unfolding that ultimately brings them together. The quaint bookstore in Edinburgh where Carmen comes to know herself more fully. The sweet & hilarious nieces & nephews that Carmen finds herself so surprisingly & lovingly attached to. The trees... the infusion of the mysterious & magnificent nature of trees...Okie, Carmen, & the tree that symbolizes "a religion without a church". I also can't leave out Bruna, who is another character I would love to know more about, as well as learn from. 😊 All of this blended together for a WONDERFUL Christmas tale... One I will make a tradition of listening to each year . Thank you for such a generous literary Christmas gift.

Enthralled with Joseph Campbell's teaching of myth

I've wanted to see Joseph Campbell's The Power of Myth for years. I have now watched it and am re-watching it on Netflix. I also found it on Audible and am simultaneously listening to it. I am so moved to learn and absorb even more of this content. If this subject speaks to you at all, you may find it as you deeply enthralling as I do.
