I enjoyed the story bit as a non musician I got lost in much of the chord and technical changes. It does open a whole new view the Brew classic.

Terry Pluto offers the most interesting view of the ABA through a series of interviews which are at times hilarious but we’re also obtained by the author.
The only annoying thing is the mispronunciation of many of the players evidently the research into this issue but overall still a very satisfying book.

Pluto is a great look at the early NBA . Original sources for the book work great as a narrative.
But, the narrator mispronounced more than 15 players names. It is distracting and shows the lack of research.

Incisive and critical look at the evolution of music, culture and social changes of American jazz. It is entertaining, informative and impressive. The author has spent a lifetime in the field. A must read for anyone interested in the music.
