Historia
Money - investing, personal finance, and business decisions - is typically taught as a math-based field, where data and formulas tell us exactly what to do. But in the real world people don’t make financial decisions on a spreadsheet. They make them at the dinner table, or in a meeting room, where personal history, your own unique view of the world, ego, pride, marketing, and odd incentives are scrambled together. In The Psychology of Money, award-winning author Morgan Housel shares 19 short stories exploring the strange ways people think about money.

Historia
Boaz Manor was a finance wunderkind. He started a hedge-fund company in Canada and later burst onto Wall Street with a product that could transform the crypto market. By all accounts, he was incredibly hard-working. Possibly brilliant. And...a shameless con man who ended up wanted in multiple countries. Chasing Boaz Manor explores Boaz’s schemes through the perspective of those he left in his wake.

World is full of such cons who are protected by the system
Revisado: 07-01-24
If you are from the financial industry you would know ow the world is full of such conmen and unsurprisingly they share many of the traits of Boaz - it’s not even funny how he fits the bill. Yet people like him are protected by the system as perhaps the ones who are supposed to police him also see many commonalities with such conflicts that creates soft spots and allow passage to safety.

Overly done superhero story - I was refund !
Revisado: 02-24-24
Don’t know how the book ended up being bestseller, with so many top reviews. I dragged myself to reach halfway mark and then couldn’t take it any more. Same story line as to how f***d up his life was and how tough MF he is. Zero lessons unless you are someone with a disturbed abused childhood and probably going for navy seals intake - and even then can’t apply most of it. Hate saying it but what a waste of my time !!!

Not so good purchase
Revisado: 01-17-24
This book wasn’t the best use of time. Doesn’t give much to work with, too scientific at times (like a medical journal) and most practical tips are what any adult would have learnt from experience.
