Really good story of generational trauma

I really like the way the story was told from mother and daughter's pov. I did not like the first half of the book because it was so slow. It picked up in the end but I was hooked when the mystery seemed to be another mystery. So so good!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Jesse and Trisha ! Really good writing, great twists and very well developed characters. Trisha felt like she had a lot of self esteem issues and I felt like I didn't get to know her character well. Jesse and Trisha had great chemistry. I have only read a few MC novels and this was one of the best. The plot was really good and I didn't feel any gaps. If you like a good MC novel check this out.

He's Miami's hottest new MVP. She's the woman who makes it all worthwhile. I brought us to Miami, my engagement ring on Roxie's finger, and nothing feels better than this woman by my side. She keeps me home, keeps me grounded, and having her with me on this new journey means everything. I'm well aware of what Roxie's given up to come to Miami with me: an entire other life, and any sacrifices I've made are none compared to that. This woman is made for me and I am for her, and if we can get through what we dealt with in college, I think we'll be golden here.

Yes, it is about the same. I am not a fan of the country accent Wen Ross used for Griffin it was a bit over the top for me.

She's the girl no one sees, completely opposite from the world I live in and the life I lead, but I don't care. She makes me better. She makes me see things in ways I never have before, and I think I do that for her, too. The problem is the complications in my life may see fit to end us, test her in ways I'm sure she's never been tested.
