Great story and characters.

I found this to be an exceptionally good book, well written with a good balance of action, RPG, and character development. The anxiety and horror if the new world meshes well and each of the various character motivations are fleshed out well. I am looking forward to more books in the Australian lands as well other series set in this background.

Goods series but a little stagnant

I very much like the writing, world building and narration. however, the main character, known to be a scoundrel is becoming stagnant. There has been no growth or character arc for him and the world has advanced a little but still seems to be similarly stuck. I hope things begin to change or I will need to shelve this series for a bit.

Very disappointed in the direction if the books

The general series story is fun and humorous. however, the last few books have been increasing boring and this one was a slog to get through. The amount of times his own people repeatedly betray the main character and he feels bad for them is astounding. The story arcs have become a boring tedium of the same type of story with no character growth. I very much liked the earlier books, but at this point, they really need to end the story or find a major new direction. I am very sad to have had to write these words since previous iterations of this series were so much fun.

A friend i. a book group told me to check out the oroginal, and jist after this modified book was released. The new version added some additonal prelude chapters to the story. The book was a fantastic read, well written, and voice actress did an excellent job. Very highly recommend you read/listen.

Unexpected Excellance

I greatly enjoy the Galaxy Edge book series. Usually strong action oriented militatmry sci-fi. This is not that. I had this in my library for a while and had not read since the book seemed an outlier. After funally stsrting the book, I could not stop listening and did not want the story to end. Great story telling and character developement. Not typical militsty sci-fi and really a prequel to the Galaxy Edge galactic Republic. Book was amazing and worth the read/Listen. Definitely getting next in series when available

Get this book.

Had gotten the book during a sale. figured, what the hell, it is cheap, why not? This book was excellent. The narrator was spot on. Book plot was extremely intriguing and the pacing was great to keep you hooked in. The technology within the story was well thought out. Worth the buy. I would buy this book at full price, but just as glad gotten in a deal.

Very enjoyable book.

Went in with no prior knowledge of the Omega Force Series and found myself greatly enjoying the expansive world building, building conflicts and military aspects of the story. I will be going back and checking out the prior series to delve further into the stories and lore of this universe. Looking forward to more books in this series. Picked this up during a sale and it was a win.

Great Story.

This was a great story. military sci-fi backdrop to a missing person investigation. Very similar feel to tge Sean Connery Outlander movie (obviously different story). Was surprised how much I ebjoyed this. Definitely a good purchase.
