This book was a great book that pulled you in from the start to the end! Throughout you'll hear about how their life was as small children the fun time and the harrowing times they went through. You'll be on the edge of your seat as they struggle and face hard times as their parents didn't seem to be worrying about the kids it seemed but almost times they come out on top and the years when they got old enough to leave West VA and headed to New York to make their own way only to be followed by the rest of the siblings and the parents you'll get to see just how they all turn out!! It'll be quite a surprise it was to me as I thought I had it figured out but it has twists and turns you'll be surprised about!! Check this book out you'll be glad you did!!!

Empty Nesters

A great story about a couple who are divorced and both of them have kids that are in college and they are enjoying the life of empty nesters when things are interrupted by life when their kids show up back at home some for just a spell others have issues going on in their young lives that they run home to seek refuge which interrupts Nadia and Jacks new found love and plans. So as through life it has its ups and downs but everything works out for the better and the couple find themselves alone again empty nesters with their kids all moving back to their places and college's to restart their schooling and their personal lives now that all are on track everyone is happy not to mention their first night alone Jack plans a surprise getaway for him and Nadia. You'll have to listen to find out what the surprise is.

I hope there'll be much more of Rita & Ellen with their grandkids I've listened to all of the other podcast episodes and these grandma's have brought back my memories of my own grandma Helen whom was so spunky and full of life!! She was unlike any of my friends grandma's who were stuffy & seemed "old" but my grandma Helen she was a ball of fire & so much fun!! All my friends called her "grandma Helen" when they saw her or even spoke about her and She didn't mind at all. She was addressed by so many who would call her grandma Helen instead of her name but that just gives you an idea of how much she was loved by so many. She taught me so much in life and although I miss her dearly there's not a day that goes by I don't think of her and some of the times we've had. I know she's always with me and watching over us. I truly have enjoyed your podcast show "Rita and Ellen's Call your Grandmother" and I hope you ladies have many more episodes to air. Loved it!! Loved you both!!
