A perfect book

This is one of those books I wish I had growing up. I relate to both of the characters so much in different ways and this entire story resonated with me. The plot was wonderful, but what was truly so amazing was how developed the main characters were, their feelings and thoughts and overall personality was so relatable and raw. I loved every second of this. Thank you for sharing this story!

Great story, narration left a lot to be desired.

The story was fantastic and was captivating, even if it dragged and felt redundant at some points. The narration however was so clinical and flat I had to listen to this over the course of a few days because of how boring she made the story sound. Every word was monotonous and made the story slightly uninteresting, I feel I would have given 5 stars had another narrator read us this.

This was such a joy to stubble upon! This was an adventure from start to end that made me laugh out loud multiple times. Great characters all around and a fun story line that I never would have expected. Definitely a 10/10!

I was so happy to discover this while looking for my next read, I’ve loved everything else he has written and this was no exception. His world building skills and attention to detail beyond normal space and time, were spectacular in this novel. I always love the afterwords with him and his addendums to really draw you into the world and provide full understanding of what he is sharing with us.

If you’re into wildly repetitive and mundane storytelling, then listen away. This book came highly recommended and I was very excited to listen, unfortunately I was disappointed from about halfway on. I do love the main idea of this story and its intention, but it missed the mark one too many times as you journey on through.

I have never listened to or read a more real life novel in my life. This was raw, filled with emotion and connections to every character that anyone can relate to or understand. This book will stay with me forever in my mind. A truly wonderful story.

Michael has truly outdone himself with this masterpiece. I’ve listened and read all of Michael’s books, but this by far has been my favorite. We really see so much history here in this novel, dedication to other book details that have been inserted so perfectly for future readings if this series is where you are starting. I cannot wait for the next and final book of this series to come out, you are truly a master of words and a visionary. Thank you!
