Adventurous
Revisado: 05-16-21
This second book in the trilogy is full of adventure and excitement. It is reminiscent of books like the Three Musketeers! The characters are well written and the setting, though sometimes fantastical, still leaves you believing it fits the story, which is definitely fast-paced.

Historia
After an overhaul of leadership at the FBI's New York field office, A. X. L. Pendergast is abruptly forced to accept an unthinkable condition of continued employment: the famously rogue agent must now work with a partner. Pendergast and his new teammate, junior agent Coldmoon, are assigned to Miami Beach, where a rash of killings by a bloodthirsty psychopath are distinguished by a confounding M.O.: cutting out the hearts of his victims and leaving them - along with cryptic handwritten letters - at local gravestones, unconnected save in one bizarre way.

This book takes one on such an amazing journey between past and present, with plot twists that are always a surprise. The writing sparks the imagination, and the people and their foibles are so delicately addressed. A little mystery is also entwined in the story. I loved every descriptive minute of this book!!

Revisado: 10-08-17
The concept of the story was so interesting, that I was totally enthralled as it unfolded. I’m astounded at the amount of research that Dan Brown must of done to set the stage for such intriguing ideas. One of my favorite books!!
