Very Enjoyable New Series

I enjoyed this book, the story and performance were on par with Joseph Delaney’s other books. If you liked the Spooks series I think you’ll like this one, it has a similar feel to it. Will be listening to the second one when it is available.

A Lot Of Fun

I always enjoy Greaney’s books. I’m a big fan of the Gray Man novels and this one reminded me of the third book in that series. I like the full cast and the addition of the sound effects, In general I prefer regular audiobooks but changing it up can be and this one was done well. My only complaint would be that I wish it had been longer.

Love All The Hank Books

The Hank books are always fun to listen to. If you like the other books then you’ll like this one too. Like a few other people I didn’t really enjoy the last Hank book (the one with actors) as much as I enjoyed the others, I’m happy he made this one more fun.

Great story and performance as long as you don’t mind the direction the twist takes.

It’s a great story and a great performance. Whether you love or hate the book depended entirely on whether or not you like the “type” of twist the writer employs at the end. (And, at least from a guys perspective, whether or not you can get through the first half of the story hearing about all the thoughts that go through crazy women’s heads).

The 5th book brings the conclusion to the mystery that began in the 1st. I thought the story ended well overall and I enjoyed the performance in each of the books.

Good story. Great Narration

The story is very similar to many of the spy thrillers out there. It's fun, fast paced, and written pretty well. The stories downsides would be the all around familiarities (events, dialogue, problems) that you get in a lot of spy thrillers. For me, what made it really enjoyable was the narration. The reader does a great job of keeping a consistent, upbeat tone that makes it all feel fast and action packed. I'm going to try the next one in the series and see how it goes.

If you like Delany then you'll like this

It's a fun book with a plot that goes beyond just fighting in the arena. I've read most of Delany's books and I always enjoy them.

Love all the Jack West Jr. Books

If you like the other Jack West Jr. books then you'll like this one as well. I waited for this one and bought it the first day it came out and I'm going to do the same for the next book. Hopefully it comes quick.

A Great Book and Performance

I really enjoyed this book and the performance by the reader. The plot has a kind of Agatha Christie murder mystery feel to it and the mystery is set up very well. It's fun jumping from character to character, each time receiving a clue and then trying to figure out where it fits in to the story. It reminded me of the movie Memento directed by Christopher Nolan. If you like that type of story setup then I recommend this book.
