というわけで、これからの日本は「一人で生きる」のが当たり前になる、という予測をテーマに据えて、
独身研究の第一人者・荒川和久さんと気鋭の脳科学者・中野信子さんに対談をしていただきました。
この本は、大きく2部構成としました。
・前半(第1〜4章)は、独身者(ソロ)と既婚者のそれぞれの生き方や幸せ、
「孤独」という「個人」にまつわることについて。
・後半(第5〜7章)は、視点を少しずつ個人から社会全体のほうに転じ、
ソロと集団、多様性と個性といった社会的なテーマに移行するという流れになっています。
そして終章として、今の時代では無視できなくなった「withコロナ時代の生き方」という時事的なトピックで締めくくります。
