When the soloist drops out of this year's Christmas program, Kason Tanner knows the perfect replacement to step into the role on such short notice.
Tamsin Malcone. Longtime rival, competing for top grades all through school and years later for the same worship leader's position at Hope Creek Community Church.
The job Kason got. Tamsin still hasn't forgiven him.
He'd considered rewriting the part to a male lead and assigning one of his brothers, but they were both tied up tracking a serial arsonist. Besides, Christmas was the perfect time for a reset, for extending grace and forgiveness. She wouldn't turn him down, right?
Back home to help her mother with her three younger sisters after their father's unexpected passing, Tamsin loves her new job at Hope Creek Assisted Living Home. Although music isn't her primary focus as the Director, she enjoys interacting with the residents and organizing programs to put happy smiles on their sweet faces. She has no regrets. Well…maybe one. Not making amends with Kason after he got the worship leader's job. He'll never invite her to participate in the music ministry at church.
Can these two set aside their rivalry long enough to discover that they make better music together than apart? Will their natural competitiveness result in a program disaster or prompt a Christmas reset?
