Another true dual narrtion

I liked the way this book was read. I do not consider Mort to be the best narrator I have listened to but he was ok. The story is ok nothing really earth shattering I do not care for the way Willows writes. I listened to the book due to the way it was narrated. I just wish all publishers would consider this. And make sure the narrator matches the character in the story.

Good story

Ruby Rivers and La Petit Mort (also known as Charlie Ongel and Tor Thom) are two of my favorite narrators and I'll pick up almost anything they narrate. This was a good story in a series of books but it can be a standalone. The story focuses around two very different wolf-shifter brothers and their interaction with a cougar shifter. I think I would have liked more character development but the stories action pulled it through. There are explicit love scenes so if this offends you, please skip this book.

Cougar Among Wolves

This story was about a female cougar and two hot sexy male wolves. I am glad this was a standalone, even though it is part of the Black Hills Wolves series. This book was really good. La Petite Mort and Ruby Rivers did a great job in bringing these characters to life. I received this free copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Love this one

I really enjoyed this shifter story. It is pretty much a MFM style which was done very well. The action and suspense was great and had some sad elements as well. Plenty of sass and steam to boot. Ruby and La Petite Mort does a great job as always.

Meh, not horrible (if you like this particular subset of erotic fantasy) but not great either. Honestly, I found a lot of it cheesy, ESPECIALLY THE VERY LONG SEX SCENE. I literally rolled my eyes and made gagging sounds. I was just so super cheesed out! But the brother-mates are sweet (which is a pleasant change from the alpha a-hole norm) and I appreciated the heroine's independent streak. Just don't go into this one expecting any depth or a complex plot and you'll probably enjoy it well enough.
