wonderful and bitter-sweet

Loved the plot, the characters and the voice actors...it help to recreate in my mind the story. it saddens me that the backdrop of this book is based in historical information. One thinks of the poor people and the women in that era. subjected to endure so much hardship and constriction of the societal rules.
