The Six Magicians is primarily the story of Toba, an abused child, self-named Callanan AnKimbo aka Callie in a world where only men can be magi. She grows up to be a sociopath and the most powerful magus in her world. The world in question is earthlike with seven moons, three of which are easily visible to the eye. The people are a mix of humans, elves, dwarves, gnomes, and secretly dragons who can shape change into other forms. Callie does a healing on herself that has an accidental side effect of removing her blockage to magic.
