Resumen del Editor

Explore an illuminating collection of Tanka poetry that echoes from the depths of uncertainty, darkness, and beauty.

Beautifully communicating timeless themes through the form of classic Japanese Tankas, this thought-provoking poetry collection pushes against the border of love and loss, painting a vivid picture with flowing prose and imagery that leaves a lasting impression in the minds of all who hear it. Embodying the reflections of poet and author Brett C. Persson, A Leaf on the Wind wades through the tumultuous depths of uncertainty and pain, offering a source of comfort and peace as it plays over stories of hope, nature, and light.

With the distinctive syllables and layout that have made Tankas such a popular and beloved form of poetry, A Leaf on the Wind explores the familiar and the profound, expressing deep thoughts and wisdom through a new artistic medium. Channeling creativity to provide listeners of all backgrounds with a refreshing poetry collection, this book gifts those familiar with poetry a new outlet and gives newcomers a memorable introduction to Tankas.

Perfect for any poetry fan seeking a new collection to leaf through, this poignant book speaks to your heart and soul, making it perfect for the creative, the visionary, the dreamer, and anybody who seeks knowledge and wisdom in art. A Leaf on the Wind is the culmination of the author's lifelong journey, and it will resonate with anyone who has struggled with addiction, grief, pain, or hardship in their life.

Nice Collection

A nice collection of Tanka poetry. Tanka's are similar to Haiku's but with two extra lines of 7 syllables allowing the author to tell us a little more about the subject. A wide range of topics are covered. I enjoyed it but wish there had been more.
