At the same time, it is Shakespearian-like -- marked with comedy, drama, tragedy, and unfulfilled promises. Folsom's compassion and Populism, however, were often tainted by his outrageous antics, progressive descent into alcoholism, and unpopularity with white supremacists.

Great book, poor narration
This book is a great listen for anyone interested in Alabama politics or history. The only downside is the extremely poor narration performance by the artificial intelligence.
