Avery, a young widowed mother, strives to care for a beaten-down domestic survivor on the ranch. How might Scout Westbrook, a burly young military veteran influence both of their lives?
Nestled in the hills of the Lake Michigan shoreline, the ranch overlooks open fields and rich oak, maple and beech tree groves. It has been owned by the Katzen family for generations.
