Love Jo Bartlett SO much but Toni is infuriating!
Jo, girl, I LOVE your work but come on. I rated it 4 stars specifically because I enjoy the writing and performance style, and the storyline. However Toni is so infuriatingly dense that I struggled to enjoy large parts of the book.

Cute story
I enjoy the Cornish midwife series. I think it would be great as a show. Sometimes I feel like I lose track of all the different characters though. Overall I enjoyed this story. Toni and Bobby are adorable.

What in the world was Toni thinking
Very underwhelming, I had a hard time feeling any sympathy for Toni. What she put that wonderful young man through and putting her young life on hold for 5 years. I know it’s fiction because in reality no one would go through what he went through for 3 years , these days it’s 3 months 6 if you are lucky
