Best so far

Best book in the series so far. I was sad when it was over. I hope this series keeps going.

Interesting and well told story.

Klavan has written another interesting and very well told story with Winter as the protagonist. I finished it in a day. Hoping for a 5th installment in the series.

Another great novel

Klavan does a wonderful job continuing to weave for us the continuing story of Cameron Winter. This is the best one in the series so far. Get ready for a thrilling ride.

Klavan has done it again!

Andrew Klavan has been on the scene for years! This book shows the top notch artist Klavan has become. Every book there seems to be more growth. A Woman Underground blew me away. I love the Cameron Winter series, but this just really seems to hit the mark. If ypu love thrillers, mystery, action that makes you think as well, listen or read this book!!!!! 5 🌟. 10 out of 10!!

I devored this in a day.

I was completely gripped by this novel. I had such a hard time putting it down that it interfered with work. The ending was simultaneously melancholy and yet mostly satisfying. The world the story inhabits is familiar. It's a depressingly dysfunctional world, but I found pleasure in seeing that depicted, as if I was being reminded that I'm not crazy for seeing it. As a narrator, Klavan investigates some of the ugliest realities of our broken world with brutal honesty, but also with sincere empathy. There were occasions when a less disciplined author would have been tempted to moralize, but rather than judging the evil being shown, there is a tragic understanding, a "there but for the grace of God go I" approach that nevertheless does not descend into hand-waving relativism or pseudosophisticated nihilism. My wife is probably sick of hearing me gush about this book and so are you so I'll leave it there. But buy book and read book!

Captivating

I hit play and could not turn it off. Klavan, per usual, delivers another captivating mystery.

Another great chapter

From start to finish, this book will keep you pulled into it's many plots, and craving to learn how they will unfold. One of the quickest binge stories I've flown through in a while.

Thought Provoking Story

Loved the story, but as much as that I found the various relationships providing much food for thought about our own relationships. Thank you, Andrew Klavan.

This was well worth the wait, but unfortunately I finished it the first day and now I have to wait again! Klavan is a mad genius and a great story teller.
