Prison blues
What a great story. Reading a Doiron tale is like settling down in a nice cozy chair and getting lost in the world of Mike Bowditch. Such a great character and who doesn't love the other recurring characters. Billy and his whole family, Charley and his wife and Shadow, the wolf dog. Two stories running here and a host of problems to solve. Prison corruption, Billy needing help, trying to untangle his own love life as well as saving Shadow. Just an all around great read.

Least favorite so far.
This book felt chaotic and rushed compared to the rest. There were too many story lines going on at once and it felt like the author was too concerned with making all the other books come together in this one rather than concentrating on just giving us another good story about Mike.

Love the story but HuGe blurb aggravation
This was a fun story but I have to complain to Audible about the blurb. The wolf WASNT KILLED. Looked at a dozen other blurbs on different sites and none incorrectly stated the wolf died. Rant over.
