Ok story

Not a fan of the narration of this book. Sounded a little robotic. The story was ok. I got the feeling of lore friends with benefits than romance. The characters just didn’t seam to have the chemistry I was hoping for. Nick was my favorite character. I think he saved this book for me.

Great story horrible narration

The story was great but the narrator was bland on everything but character speech of voice over. It sounded like he narrator thinks you’re an idiot and can’t understand the difference between narration or character speech. Personally like book over voice over no contest needs a better narrator.

Robotic Narrator - Horrible

The book may or may not have been good couldn’t tell you after trying to listen for an hour. The narration for this book was monotonous and robotic. If I hadn’t been at work white noise would have put me to sleep slower than this narration.

This is a good story that balances the sex and action very well. Unfortunately the narrator has the habit of reading every line like it's a question. For me this made it very distracting to listen to.

Unlistenable!

The reader's inflection was so odd that I found it impossible to pay attention to the story. He reads every phrase and every sentence in the exact same quirky intonation which was so distracting that I couldn't stay with it. Yet, I knew I'd heard something similar before... Valley Girl? No, not quite. Then it hit me: it's the exact intonation that Stephanie, the maid from the old "Newhart" show used to speak in when she was annoyed, which was almost always. Maybe I shouldn't have rated the story one star, because I found the reader's monotonous performance so irritating that I couldn't attend to the actual words.

First off the narrator was terrible lack of emotion, Very boring.A toddler could have narrated the story better.The story itself was except I didn't like how they treated Shawn. Lucas was very Condescending. In the beginning of the book, it states that just because Sean is big doesn't mean he's not smart but he has the book goes on. They kind of make it sound like he isn't idiot and it doesn't help that the narrator made him sound like an idiot. The only reason I suffered through hours of this is because I paid for it. I tried to return it and it wouldn't let me so that's 7 hours. I'm never gonna get back. Don't read it, don't listen to it, don't waste your time.

Love the reader not the book I could not get through the story, just too boring for me.

VERY poor narration

Due to the narrators nonexistent enthusiasm of the book, could not get into it. The narrator sounded like a computer generation. Could not finish so is a waste of money.

Narration sounds like computer generated voice

I think there's a chance this book would be good but wow, the narration actually sounds like computer generated voice - not kidding or exaggerating. Maybe I'll buy the actual book and try reading it myself but I just can't listen to this. It was so irritating, I felt like I was going to crawl out if my skin or scream after 10 minutes - - I just couldn't take it any more. It's so sad, the book itself like like it might be good...
