Resumen del Editor

America is under attack. America has always been under attack. America will likely continue to be under attack. Our attackers are not those who threaten us with military force. Presently, we are well prepared to fend off an enemy who is seen - one who can be defeated on the battlefield. Our enemy is more insidious, and often supported by those within our government who are responsible for preventing that danger. Thomas Jefferson warned us of this danger early on, even while the U.S. Constitution was being written. One of his major concerns was that if citizens were not educated to recognize tyranny they might not be able to recognize it; not if it occurred, but when it occurred. He knew the democratic principles of our republic would be challenged. The United States still has not established a basic principle, a standard, that guides our education purpose. This has been the primary reason our education efforts, our education system, continues to fail our students. This book serves three purposes. First, to show how Jefferson’s concern about being educated to recognize tyranny against our democracy applies in our current generation, and during the generation of students who are now in school. Second, to illustrate how current students must be our new heroes. Third, to give twenty specific study skills to help those students find their hidden abilities to learning success. This is a companion book to my novel, America 20XX: The New World Order. This novel demonstrates what can and might happen if our students are not educated enough to recognize this tyranny. These are perilous times for America. We must all be prepared do recognize these changes, and be prepared to defend the principles of our U.S. Constitution.
