One of the scarier ones

He claims he never stalked or picked anyone out before killing them, they just came across his path by chance... literally all across America. The woman’s “man voice” wasn’t an issue, it was the dialogue, and I’m guessing she has no control over that. You want the interrogator to spit out his words, and sometimes they sounded stupid. That’s what I found annoying! Good book, creepy dude, feel bad for his victims families and the ones we’ll never be able to confirm.

Keeps you interested...

Well written. I was surprised that the writer took time to make sure the story was accurately told and told in a fashion that isn't too detailed or graphic. It's a book about a serial killer so it's going to be somewhat morbid.

Narrator

Female narrator was amazing except when she dropped her voice and tried imitate a male speaking. Omg! Why are you doing that if you’ve already identified in the text that a man is speaking? Drove me nuts!

Fascinating and terrifying

Surprised I had never heard of Israel Keys. He was true evil in every sense. However was annoying to hear the narrator's version of a male voice. That every make sounds like a bafoon.

Not a bedtime story

This story is captivating and terrifying while also infuriating! If you are interested in true crime and killers akin to Ted Bundy, this is a must listen.

The BEST true crime book I have read so far!

The narrator was fantastic! pulls you in from the first few words. Love it! Will be looking for more books from her.

"Really ," I am amazed at people sometimes!!

If people who choose this book are looking for a story, tell them to buy Harry Potter, or Mr. Rogers if you really want to get me started!! This is a documentary, on a serial killer, and many other witnesses [ like 90 or more ] people. I thought it gave me exactly what I discovered that it would, when I chose this book. I love books and documentaries like these. Just my preference I suppose. But u you look at the reviews and think " really " all these people have picked and poked and said nothing really about the book . Great book!! I would definitely recommend it if you enjoy thriller documentaries! Star K.

Slow start, but stick with it

This book starts out slow and takes a little while to build up, but stick with it. Once the story gets going, it’s gripping!

Couldn’t put it down! Great narration! The story was riveting. My first true crime book and I’m hooked on the genre.
