Great character that pull you in to the story
This is a great story about the forgotten small town life which illustrates how communities interact with one another and one action leads to another . It's a well written book though at times I thought it was overly descriptive it tells a heart felt story of everyday people's lives. It is ripe with characters that deal with their ethics, character and the temptations of life but somehow as a community they find the best in one another. I highly recommend it. Every one could benefit from having a mentor and neighbor like Mr. Downs III.
