More, More, More…..
I liked everything about this audible book. I simply love the Pendergast series. Am pleased to hear that the current narrator has a similar voice to the late Rene Auberjonois who was an excellent Pendergast. Always look forward to Preston & Child books.

Much fun
Very enjoyable Pendergast. Loved the images of old New York. Mention of Jerome Park in the Bronx was personally welcome. Always loved these characters. Send us more please.

The rich characters and outstanding writing. Preston and Child never disappoint.
The entire story is one I found most entertaining. Absolutely engrossing. Hard to put down.

Return to Excellence
I’ve loved this series from the beginning, but even I must admit the past few entries prior to these last two were showing a lack of luster…. These last two have redeemed a declining series…. Every bit as good as the first handful of the Pendergast investigations…

One of the best in the series so far!
The Agent Pendergast series is my favorite of all time and this book, the one before it and Cabinet of Curiosities are my top 3. It's hard to pick favorites, but I will say that I'm not a huge fan of the books with Agent Coldmoon. I'm really glad they got back to the characters I love the most. I'm loving this narrator too! Honestly, I think that he's better than René Auberginois (RIP). 10/10!

This series needs to be on tv !
This series is always wonderful, mysterious and a sea saw of emotional confusion. Constance is the Woman. She’s bigger and deeper than Pendergast or Augustus. Her character has untapped depths that can keep this series a hit for the next 20 yrs. Now that she has resolved her past I look forward to her true future. Great writing and narration as always. Preston and Childs are masters in the game.

I love all the Agent Pendergast books!
I liked how the narrator performed the different voices for the different characters, especially Diogenes! I loved the excitement and twists in the story. I felt really satisfied with the ending!
