This newer edition of the King James Bible published in 1769 is usually preferred by most that read it over the older 1611 version. This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... A Good Read (or should I say listen)
If you're an avid Sherlock Holmes fan (which I am) then you have to listen to this book. As the narrator describes Doyle and his life you can see the connections in many of the Holmes stories and how much Doyle there is in Watson. Although the first half of the book is more captivating than the last, as a whole it was very interesting and kept my attention. Doyle did just about everything a man could do back in those days and it made you wish you could go back in time and try it yourself.
