Bryan Preserve in the little town of Point Arena, California is a 110-acre private reserve created and run by the husband and wife team of Frank and Judy Mello, that allows critically endangered African hoof stock, including zebras and antelope, to roam in wild, wide-open spaces - a setting more natural to these animals’ indigenous land.
World traveler, radio host, and preservation enthusiast Patricia L. Lawrence, visits B. Bryan and chats with Frank and Judy about how they started the preserve and why they believe the private setting is preferable than a zoo.
