Spending 18 grueling months hundreds of miles from any civilization, with the coldest winter on record they were content to get back home with their lives—without the riches they had searched for.

The stories of our frontiers are timeless, and Yukon Yesterdays is as interesting today as when it was first published in England in 1936. The first-hand accounts of the people and sociological studies of boomtowns and the "luck of the game" are fascinating as well as informative.
