John is CEO of JH Whitney and was previously Chairman of JP Morgan Alternative Asset
Management. He’s a Senior Fellow at USMA West Point, has served as a member of the US
Department of Defense Business Board, a Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army for New
York, and has received awards from the Secretary of Defense, the Air Force, and the Navy.
Allen is President of JH Whitney and previously served as Interim CEO as well as General
Counsel for Wells Fargo & Company.
