  • Florida State is seeking AAU accreditation which could mean a future invite from the Big Ten could come sooner than later. FSU is attempting to sue its way out of the ACC in order to free itself up for a jump to a more lucrative conference like the Big Ten. FSU + AAU = BIG TENHowever, as the Big Ten is getting ready for the 2024 college football season, there are many who feel that the Big Ten, when considering future members for conference expansion and college football realignment, would prefer member schools be up to par academically with the AAU stamp of approval.FSU is not currently and AAU school but, according to a school Provost, they are working toward accreditation by 2026.
