With his demonic lover Caitlin and his precocious apprentice Melanie, he follows a thread of nonexistent airlines, ghostly packages, and urban legends all the way to Springfield, a small town with big secrets.
A small town where everything closes at sundown and people are warned not to go out after dark. A small town where the library offers books written by authors who never existed, and the locals seem to be acting out parts assigned by an invisible director. There’s only one way into Springfield. There’s no easy way out. And as the fabric of reality begins to warp and change all around them, Daniel and company will have to learn a new set of rules if they want to survive and put an end to Naavarasi’s twisted design.

Can't get any Better!
As a long time fan of Daniel Faust I just noticed a new book, this one. This is a series that just keeps getting better. It is a shame though that the books don't come out quicker. Each new book in the series turns into my favorite book in the series. This one is no different! The description of the surroundings in this book is superior! Adam Verner does his typical excellent job of narration, and the story is fast moving, lots of action as well as always being thought provoking. After 11 Daniel Faust books I WANT MORE, and as soon as inhumanly possible! Love this book. Do yourself a big favor and read this series!

Love the Series hate the wait!
Another great addition to the series. I always enjoy the books but felt the progress in the main story arc was a bit lacking in this one. It felt more filler than substance. Still, the narrator did an excellent job as always bringing life to the characters
