But now, fears of another front line being opened up in Golan Heights are emerging after an explosion in a playground in Majdal Shams on Saturday, killing 12 young people from the minority Druze community. During the recording for this very debate, further reports of an Israeli airstrike on Lebanon’s capital of Beirut have broken in the news. Could this mean that the IDF will soon not just be fighting the remnants of Hamas, but also a neighbouring state’s military, Hezbollah?
