I Enjoyed It

I really enjoyed this book. I loved both Kane and Melissa. When a one night stand suddenly comes into the precinct tells Kane he's the father of their newborn son, and leaves the baby with him, he's stunned. But his wolf knows the infant is his. He doesn't want to ask for help but he's completely unprepared and in the dark about all the things a baby needs- though his pack is helping. Melissa's life changed when her husband of twenty years cheated on her with her best friend and got her pregnant. So she divorced him and is starting a new life in a new pack. I like the way the relationship between her and Kane develops. She's worked in daycare, and raised a daughter of her own, so she was in the perfect position to help Kane and be a nanny for his baby while he has long hours at work as a police officer.

Elle Sonali does another great job bringing these characters to life. I like her voices for both the females and the males and she has an almost soothing tone of voice that I always like.

This book was Amazing!!

This book was so good. The narrator did a very good job with it. I loved the characters and the plot. I would recommend this book to all who like shifter romances.

Kane, Melissa, and Adrian

Story: Glenwood pack police officer wolf shifter Kane (H) finds his life is turned upside down when Sherry, a woman with whom he shared a one-night stand, drops off a baby at his workplace, claiming the child, Adrian, is his. Kane feels overwhelmed but decides to take responsibility for Adrian and hires Melissa (h), a divorcee who recently joined the Glenwood pack in search for spiritual fulfillment, as Adrian's nanny. As Melissa settles into her new role, she brings stability and warmth to both Adrian and Kane's lives, and despite their attempts to keep things professional, Kane and Melissa's mutual feelings and attraction grow stronger. Melissa's psychic abilities, developed through meditation and spiritual practices, uncover dark secrets about Adrian’s mother, Sherry, even as her relationship with Kane heat up. When danger threatens Adrian and Melissa, Kane and the rest of the Glenwood pack will have to step up and protect their newest members. Hot and steamy midlife wolf shifter romance, exploring love, loyalty, and the lengths one will go to for family.

Audio: Narrator Elle Sonali does a great job with Melissa and other female voices, and a pretty good job with male voices - while I personally prefer a female narrator is used to voice female voices, and a male narrator for male voices, I think Sonali did one of the best overall jobs as a single narrator that I've listened to in quite a while. The audio quality is good and there were no issues.
