The BYU Cougars are looking for an improved on-field product this fall as the enter the second season of Big 12 Conference play and running back LJ Martin said he simply wants to help Kalani Sitake and the BYU football program win at a higher level after the 2023 campaign came to a disappointing conclusion and he's eager to help BYU rebound this season.

LJ addressed his health status with Jake Hatch, declaring himself fit along with explaining what he's done during the offseason with running backs coach Harvey Unga to get himself into a position to lead Brigham Young University (BYU) to greater heights in their sophomore Big 12 campaign and he says his whole goal is to be the best teammate and player he can along the way.
