As a child, it was easy to believe in a spiritual essence or support, and that, for me, was my imagination and colourful dreams, in which nature, woodland animals, flowers, and bright lights surrounded my life. Life happens, and we get lost along the way. I learned how to shrink away and numb myself, keeping the peace as the years went by, moving further and further away from who I truly am inside.
