- Social nudism or naturism is a healthy, wholesome, respectful and body image affirming way of life for individuals, families and communities.

· Negative labeling and stereotyping of those who enjoy clothes-free living is unfair and unwarranted.

· It is equally unfair and unwarranted that those who embrace nudism should need to live with fear of discovery or anxiety about losing their job or reputation.

· Those whose bucket list includes going on a 'Nakation®' will discover that once they try it, they'll like it and they'll wish they had begun many years earlier!

· Finally, it is time that a broad swath of society is sufficiently informed so that the world is safe for all nudists and naturists to be open about their way of life without negative repercussions.

Becoming a nudist

As a nurse, health educator and parent, I have always believed that the body is an amazing machine and beautiful in the many forms it comes in. Unfortunately, we live in a society that judges body beauty in ways that are unreachable for the vast majority. Supermodel images of men and women have made many people...including girls as young as 5!....unhappy with the way they look.
