This book will change you for the better!

I have read many, many Catholic books, and this one tops them all for me. It truly struck a chord with me and has helped me to find healing in many various areas of my life. I listened once straight through. Then went back and listened again, but stopped in places where he says to reflect or pray and was sure to do those things. The second time through was where I really experienced the big difference although even the first time through I could tell my heart was becoming opened and was changing.

The narration was great! I could hear the enthusiasm in his voice and how much he meant every word spoken. I did feel like it was slightly to slow, but no problem...I just increased the playback speed by .15. I have already recommended this book to a ton of people that I know.

Must read and listen and then read.

I think I will go back and read it again after listening to it this time.

Good Listen

I appreciated and valued listening to the considerations in this book. The testimonials of the power prayer has to heal were quite astonishing and beautiful! Glory to God!
I've got a lot of prayer time to do so I can have growth in my Faith with these kinds of beautiful healings!
My only pet peeve was that the narrator included. Every. Single. Citation. Definitely kinda interrupted the narrative a little.

Inspiring

Love the examples, and the narrative linked to scriptures. This book is inspiring, and gives us hope, we all may have a hurt that God can healed.

This is the most important book I’ve ever read(listened to)

A five star rating is not overblown at all for this book. Without a doubt this book might be one of the most important books ever written in dealing with personal healing. There are a few books that I would recommend to every single person whether they are a believer or not. This book is by far one of them.

Very good self reflection

I’ve listened to this twice, intend on listening to it again (kind of like watching a good movie several times to catch the things you missed) and also purchased the physical book to take notes in.

This is a wonderful way to really take a look in the mirror and see what God sees. There are important lessons in this book that will not only improve you, as a person, but also strengthen your relationship with God in a more intimate way.

Encouraging and Inspiring

This book was a delight! Bob confirmed and supplemented some of the Christian psychology theories I've been contemplating for years, such as the relationship between our core longings, wounds, and sins. The part about life vows is very relevant to certain counseling cases. The testimonies of healing were so uplifting!

My only quibble: quoting Pope Francis was a bit annoying. I'm Protestant, so my opinion matters very little here, but the most devout Catholics I know also disapprove of Francis. So, just because he says something right at times, doesn't mean it's really worth it to quote him. I can receive the quotes based on their merit, but I'm certain others might not be able to do that so easily.
