A bit predictable

The plot was a bit predictable, but you have to love the D’Angelo family. The characters are fun. The character development is not deep, but enjoyable enough.

She cracks me up. The family is hilarious. The typical macho stuff and then the tender actions.

Great series!

This is the second book in The D'Angelos series that centers around an Italian family who own a restaurant in the Little Italy neighborhood of San Diego. This second book is Chloe's story, the sister in the family, and her longtime family friend Dante who is back in town. The characters are well developed, the love story is charming, and the ending is a satisfying HEA. The spice level in this series is mild but not closed door.

Devon Sorvari does a great job narrating and I have no complaints about her performance at all, but I do usually prefer a dual or duet narration.

Nice comfortable feel good read.

Enjoyable. A nice comfortable read while crafting or driving. Highly recommend the series to anyone.

One of my favorite Bybee books

I couldn’t stop listening especially when I should have been working or sleeping. Bybee has a way of sucking you in until the end. The only problem was that the book was over. I want to read / listen to more about the Giovanni family and their love adventures.

So Enjoyable!

This is such a heartwarming and engaging story that I listened twice. It was romantic and humorous at times. I fell in love with the D'Angelo family! So glad Chloe has found her guy. I hope that there will be another book in this series detailing Gio's happy ever after.
