A quick, hot period romance

Beached with a Baronet is a quick, hot period romance about a clever girl who ends up alone with a brooding Baronet, and one thing leads to another. Contains graphic sex scenes.

The narrator of the audiobook is the same one who narrates the rest of the series. She does a pretty good job, though I don’t really care for her male voices and the way she narrates the sex scenes makes me a bit uncomfortable.

I don't a lot of historical romances but this was a fun one. Beached with a Baronet was sweet and funny. I liked Chloe's sass and smarts and Moses' transformation from grumpy to happy. The narrator though was a bit over the top at times which was a bit distracting. Overall, this seems like a fun series

I liked this book so well I read it twice to make sure I hadn't missed anything. I liked the fact that even after the loss of Luke's finance he still was able to find love, especially at their first meeting.

just the right amount of steam

fun, short listen. another excellent regency romance from this author! excellent narration, brought the story to life.

I enjoyed this quick listen. Chole and Moses met in the most unusual way. He is hiding from life. She always loosing her temper. Together they find something good.

Loved it!

This is the sixth book of eight Ravishing Regencies, a steamy and fun historical romance. The story of Sir Moses of Wandorne and Chloe Vaughn is beautifully written. Chloe is a lovely, refreshing, and fun character. I love the ending. Julia Eve did a great job with the narration. I loved this story.

That's what happens when you fall asleep

Falling asleep in a boat is not particularly the best of ideas. Chloe fell asleep in a small row boat and woke up in the dark, drenched by rain. Its a lovely, sweet Regency Romance, with an outspoken Chloe demanding shelter from the only house she could find. The only thing that makes this a 4 instead of a 5 is that she and Moses fell head over heels in love with one another in a matter of a few hours. (personally I feel that would most likely be lust, but I could be wrong. The narration by Julia Eve was quite well done also.So actually, I'd technically say this is 4.5 Stars. 😍

Moses gets a second chance

Moses's closed his heart off to love, but not to lust due to a lost love. Chloe got under his protective, rough, gruff, facade to a warm and caring heart. A well meaning friend causes a rift in the new relationship between Chloe and Moses, but Moses must try to rectify things. See how things turn out. The narrator did a good job of being the characters to life.

I absolutely loved this story and I especially loved Cloe. The way she stands in life and how she approached Moses: fantastic!
The narrator is another story: I really disliked her. This story deserves better!

Very Enjoyable!

I am actually very excited about this audiobook.
It is quite different from others which I have read recently and it was so easy for me to relate to both of the main characters, Chloe and Moses. I kept routing first for the one and then for the other. Just couldn't help myself.
Both Chloe and Moses come across as quite down to earth and human, fighting their feelings, not wanting to experience any of the emotions that they do and yet they are unable to control themselves. Eventually, like most of us, they simply give in and do what they later regret. I think this was captured really well.
I loved that there was such a lovely happy ending with a beautiful surprise written into it.
This story certainly came alive for me and for this reason I rate it as highly recommendable.
The narration is done by Julia Eve in her splendid voices and style. Really very easy on the ear!
I originally read an Advance Reader Copy of the ebook and now have also listened to the audiobook and this is my voluntary and unbiased review of both.
