Leadership lessons for a variety of situations!

One of the many things I appreciate about this book is that it addresses that we, as women, need to be aware of when we are promoting gender bias against each other since it is so deeply ingrained in our society. The chapters go over lessons for active listening, acknowledging feedback without the gender bias, and much more. A bonus for me was that there was also a section for introverts and how we can use our social preferences to still grow as a leader.

This audiobook is awesome! The author has done an incredible job. Mia has spoken about the different qualities and styles of leadership there are. As a woman in business and having to lead a team, this book is an asset I will be using to improve my leadership skills.

This guide will help you to develop confidence, communication skills, and improve workplace culture. The most I loved the part about the advantages of introvert leaders and how they can improve their leadership skills.

Perfect for the strong women in my life

The timing for this book could not have been better. My daughter is just entering the job market, and I wanted to preview this book before I gave it to her. I am so glad that I did.

The author takes a proactive rather than provocative stance about things that are within the control of women in the workplace. She cites numerous examples of fearless women like Susan Wojcicki, the CEO of YouTube, and how her relentless focus on results through self-confidence shatters glass ceilings.

A dear friend of mine at work who is a very successful female executive recently recounted an anecdote of how several other women in the office had been gossiping about her sleeping her way to the top. I know that that kind of gossip happens, but it was still shocking to hear nonetheless because she is so skilled at her job. The author tackles this topic too.
