I loved it so much I bought 2 extra copies for my friends!
I absolutely loved this book. I want to homeschool my children but I have absolutely no idea where to start! I am very afraid I will mess up and then my kids resent me for homeschooling them. I am absolutely encouraged to continue on this journey. Thanks Monica Swanson

Just what I needed to hear!
My husband and I were both homeschooled growing up and have begun homeschooling our 4 (and counting) children - so we are early on in our journey (3rd grade). Monica’s work (other books, blog, social media, podcast) have been a rich encouragement and support to me in my journey, and this book is a treasure! I bought the hard copy so I can highlight, dog ear pages and reference it as we progress into new stages of our homeschool years together. I consider this book a reference guide for all things homeschool and will look at it plenty in the future!
I am recommending it to all of my friends with school age children.
Thank you, Monica and Dave, for sharing your family and all of the rich truths and experiences the Lord has taught you so that this next generation of homeschoolers can benefit. We are blessed by your obedience.

Detailed and inspiring
Monica was thorough in detailing every aspect of homeschooling. She was encouraging in explaining how homeschooling can be done in many ways, even if people are hesitant or think they cannot make it happen. Monica is an inspiration.

Amazing book for anyone considering Homeschooling!
This book is so detailed and enjoyable to read! I am now sure of my decision to homeschool my boys and looking forward to the memories to be made. I now feel more confidence of facing homeschooling thanks to the resources and knowledge shared in this book. I recommend anyone who is slightly considering homeschooling to read this book.
